Commissioned Dog Sculpture

This is the start of a commissioned dog sculpture. I thought I would put a little info up about it because I think it is such a cool story. I met a nice couple who had seen one of my other dog sculptures, and we got to talking. It turned out that they had his grandfather's old tools and toolbox, and asked if I would be able to make something out of them. Grandfather was a mechanic (worked on the B24 Liberators) during WWII. We agreed on a dog based on a golden retriever. I was so honored to be able to work on such a cool project, and using the tools to make art to remember grandfather by is humbling to say the least.
