Some friends have an annual Tiki Party, for which I offered to make prizes for the the winner of the best Tiki Appetizer, Drink, and Attire. These tiki inspired sculptures as prizes have evolved, and we have now had 11 of these parties. Tiki has found its way into other projects as well. Tiki culture and the other subcultures that crossover into Tiki has become an inspirational source of project ideas for me as an artist.
